Audiologist

Day to Day

In your daily role, you can expect to engage in a variety of tasks and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments using the latest audiology equipment.

  • Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids to ensure optimal performance and comfort

  • Providing counseling and support for patients and their families on hearing health, hearing aid care, and communication strategies.

  • Staying abreast of the latest research and advancements in audiology through continuing education to enhance patient care.

  • Collaborating in a team environment that values professional development and a “Patient First” motto.

Requirements and Education

  • Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree, or a Master’s degree in Audiology

  • Active Audiology licensure in the state of Virginia

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing licensure in the state of Virginia

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize.

  • A passion for learning, with a compassionate, caring, and respectful approach to patient care.
